Celebrate Mother’s Day with a slow stroll among the six varieties of lilacs in Fort Hardy Park, a stop on Schuylerville’s Lilac Walking Tour, which features a collection of more than 77 lilac varieties (considered the largest between NYC and Rochester) with foraging experts from Saratoga Wild Roots.

During this spring excursion, participants of all ages will become wildlife detectives as they explore the dandelions in bloom at Fort Hardy Park.
Led by certified foragers from Saratoga Wild roots participants will use small spades, trimmers, and harvesting vessels to collect these bright yellow “weeds” and learn about the many uses of dandelions—from festive crowns to nutritious bitter greens.

Our Private Fall Foraging Experience at the beginning of November was an intimate peek at the gifts and surprises nature holds, regardless of season!
This all-ages, family-friendly foraging experience throughout 44 acres of beautiful land was held at the Saratoga County 4H Training Center. This is a special Foraging Experience, made possible in partnership with the Saratoga County Agricultural Society HOME+ARTS.

We had a blast on an all-ages, family-friendly foraging experience during the beginning of peak in the Northeast.
The inaugural Leave Her Wild retreat is a carefully curated rewilding weekend in the Southern Adirondacks aimed at reconnecting with yourself and your inner spirit.
The weekend includes community- and soul-building activities like foraging and feasting, yoga, drumming, dance, art, primitive skills, and nature meditation.
A private walk through a stunning forest revealed glints of magic: Reishi, chanterelles, layers of plush ground, and hemlock and oak from right out of a fairytale!
